Here is an index to filmography pages I have put together for a few artists I have admired (or, in some cases, loathed!) in the movies I've watched. Largely, these pages are simply matters of happenstance, not the result of years of study or anything like that. It's more like, one day I realize, "Golly! I've seen an awful lot of films with Charles Laughton in them!" or, "Gee! That John Ford sure is a swell movie director!" and I think, well, guess it's time to assemble my opinions into something resembling a coherent viewpoint. I've tried to focus in on some artists I think are underappreciated, but others were attractive to me for the same reason as they were for other folks. It's not that I necessarily have anything brilliant to say about them, just offering my opinions, for what they are worth. Comments and corrections are always welcome...
